VANISHING ACTS

1022 Gallery is pleased to present Vanishing Acts, a group show consisting of new oil paintings and multi-media works by Dana Beuhler, Caroline Thomas, and Alexandra Adduci.
This is the first group gallery showing of these three passionate and dedicated artists, whose shared creative philosophies and love for the tradition of fine art has inspired Vanishing Acts. Individually and collectively, the artists will present paintings and multimedia works that reflect the beauty of the unseen self through form, color, and the symbolic language of dreams.
Visit the gallery's website to see the exhibition online.

Harriet Blum Hand Tinted Photography

Harriet Blum has been hand creating fine art photographs for 35 years. Most of her work begins with B&W 35mm infrared film, which she develops and prints in her darkroom. Original prints are made on double weight fiber-based paper, then sepia toned and tinted using transparent oils that are applied with cotton balls and Q-tips. Originals as well as signed and numbered giclee prints on paper or canvas, are available in a variety of sizes. Her photographs of Louisiana nature are often described as "ethereal" and "dreamy."
